13.12 WHQL are fine for non Mantle users.

So they are putting all of thier eggs into the Mantle basket, given the recent DX announcement I think that they'll be wasting time on that now and should be looking at other things, Mantle at the end of the year I dont think is going to do them any good...

AMD have released CATS 14.2 BETA drivers. Which now include mantle support for BF4 with 7xxx GCN. I've given them a quick go last night after work.
Unistalled them an re installed because BF4 was just hanging with a black screen. Turned out it was a new bug after yesterdays BF4 update.

I wonder if it's anything to do with the Second Assault which is been released today. I did have an Origin update over the weekend. Try rebooting your PC ans see if Origin updates when it starts.

There is a 10 min video here with info about <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npnxG6m3M7s" target="_blank">Naval strike</a> and what's next for the BF Franchise. The video doesn't show anything apart from BF4 footage, the guy just talks about it.

Well there is no real benchmark for BF4.

My experience with Mantle is very poor as there are issues with the beta drivers and my card.

Start BF4 ,Video options change DirectX to Mantle.

Will play today and see how they go.

Well the Mantle patch is out for BF4. Ways in at 1.23g and you have to update your game even if you are running Nvidia cards.
You also need the AMD BETA 13.95 drivers to use it. Currently it will only work with the new generation of cards, the R series.
I think AMD BETA 14.1 drivers are out tomorrow ...
