Not sure if it helps, but I've got a x4200+ dual core and Asus board going spare if you'd like it. Just cover the postage and it's yours. It's a year old but has served me just fine. It's currently in a Antec Sonata II case if you'd like that too? (RAM and GFX have already been nabbed by housemates). Oh, and there's a HDD too in there.

I'll start again...

I've got:
AMD X2 4200+ Dual core
Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Antec Sonata II case (inc PSU)
Seagate 250gig SATA HDD

It's not quite available now, but give me till the end of next week to get everything off it and it'll be ready to ship.

Edit: If not, does anyone (Trig?) have an old stick of RAM and a bottom end PCI-E GFX card as I'd like to use the old girl as a Boinc machine

Very Kind Offer Baggy. Jake (Deckchair) will be back later and I'll ask him (he has a job at PCW :o ).

I suspect he still wants new though but will confirm later :th:

Erk, forgot that I promised the processor and board to someone else - sorry chaps. Quite fancied saving humanity with some number crunching.

All running sweet as a dream. The Antec Case is just fantastic. Three speed selectable 120mm fans on front back and side plus the top mounted 200mm fan. PSU is at the bottom.

Vista...lol....what you lot still on Windows for Workgroups 3.12?

I got the Antec 900 case. Fans full speed = noisy. Mine is in me front room so noise is an issue.
I have the rear fan on speed 2 and the rest on 1.

Noisiest thing in me comp was me ATI 1950XT till I got the lovely quiet arctic cooler for it.
Most difference was in bios setting the comp to silence mode. Now all is quiet sort of.
