Hello Andrew, I agree the white face is more pleasing. It costs about £360 which aint a lot really for what you get. Still looking at alternatives.

Breitling do some stunning and I mean stunning pieces of time engineering.... budget won't allow though I suspect ;) If the lottery win ever comes one would be on my list..............

Hi honeyBadger, I just googled 'aviator watch' and sifted through the results. It seems the ones I like are not readily available in the uk. I did find one site selling the zeppelin watch in pounds. Will stick it in here when I get home.

I had a look at the Zeppelin & Junkers watches and made contact with the manufacturers to see if they had any Spanish retailers on board as I am out there in a couple of weeks.

I got an email back from them today saying that they had nobody in UK or Spain (strange since you have found a stockist in the UK...)

However they said that they would be happy to deal with UK enquiries to their German HQ

After much ummmin and arrrrin I made me choice and bought it. Had a complete change of tack though. It just stuck out from all the others.
