Blimey, things are never straightforward...
Mrs Bob collapsed a few hours after the birth, having suffered a postpartum hemorrhage afterwards. Did the whole DRABC thing and sent her to hospital in an Ambulance. Didn't need a transfusion, but they put a few pints of liquid into her over the next few hours and she spent two nights in before coming home.
Then last night we noticed that little un's umbilical stump was a little red and smelt. Sure sign of an infection, so a quick phonecall and visit, then admitted tout suite to be put on IV antibiotics...
Looks like she could be in for 4-5 days.
Every cloud and all that. At least as Mrs Bob has to stay in with her, she'll get the rest she needs. Was driving me up the wall trying to get her to take it easy back home.
Meanwhile my other two are running me ragged...

Hi Bob, sorry I missed this thread for some reason, congratulations!!
Really sorry to hear of recent developments though. Please let us know how things go - it sounds like you have the right medical people around you spotting and making the right decisions.
Take care matey, we're all thinking of you and yours.

Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...

Great news about the little'un!!Dangerous Bob wrote: Things virtually back to normal.
Little un's putting on about 1lb a week at the mo.
Arms start to ache when trying to carry her one handed for any length of time now....
And it's a pity that's farting's not a national sport...

As for you, take it easy on the fizzy beer.
