On the 2nd June I ordered an HP 5940 from their website, paying through paypal 70 odd squids.
After not hearing from them concerning a delivery date, I contacted via phone a couple of weeks later to be told that they had had problems with Paypal not always confirming orders. They then promised to get onto the order straight away.

Another couple of weeks passed with no contact.
On the 1st July, I contacted them again by phone to be told that although the 5940 was obsolete, they could supply the 6940 in its place.

Again no contact to confirm despatch or delivery etc, so I contacted again on the 18th July to request an update. They stated that they would initiate a refund through paypal and contact me later in the day.

6 days later I am still waiting for the call, and my inbox and paypal account are still empty.
Needless to say I am quite pissed off.

written them an email today suggesting they sort it out in 2 days or my next step will be to initiate a transaction dispute through Paypal.

Anyone esle had anything to do with 3Lit?

Yep, ordered my companies HP A1 plotter through them last year, turned up a few days later, everything's been fine.

They did come across as a bit un proffesional but hey, they were cheap.

Paypal state that this type of transaction can't use their dispute process....

What's the next step?
Small claims?
or brick through the window?

Weeeellllllll.

I rang him last week, he promised to have a look when he got back to the office. Never heard anything for the rest of the week, and didn't get a chacne to ring him again until today.
Caught him in the office and he logged on to paypal, and then stated that although he'd made the request to pay me, his account hadn't got the funds in to cover it, so it hadn't gone through.
He says that he'll put in the funds so it can be paid.

Ye gods, it's only £77.

I'd advise staying away from this company.

Last update.

Rang him on Monday morning, spot on 09:30, after checking my paypal account.
He didn't answer skype which then diverted to landline, but he didn't pick up.

I rang up next on the landline. Line went dead.
Then had to deal with a works call, but called him using the works mobtel.
He picked that one up.

Stated that he'd added the funds to his account and it should have gone through.
Quick check on the Paypal account, and sure enough it went in at 09:34.....
Huzzah.

I reckon he meant to refund all along, just couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery. Once my skype jogged his memory while at his desk, he dealt with it.

Anyways.
Wouldn't go back to them again, certainly won't be recommending them either.

on the hunt for another printer now.
