Thought It Would Never Happen....

Well, Windows 7 has just replaced Ubuntu on my laptop, for the time being anyway. But it leaves me with a good feeling when I use it and it doesn't sort of swish around like the over-filled bilge of Vista.

I'm getting the same buzz from W7 as I did when I first replaced Windows 3.1 with Windows 95. But this is still in the same time frame as a fresh install, dual booting with Vista. So, we'll see how things go as time, usage, and service packs take their toll.

It's a good start anyway... and I hope it gets better.
