I've found Xfire Mode Changer <a href="http://www1.freewebs.com/spectra9/xfmc.html" target="_blank"><!--coloro:#000066--><span style="color:#000066"><!--/coloro-->XFMC<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></a> which is a free program to set profiles up for you sound app's. When you launch your app' the mode is auto changed i.e. launch Americas Army and the mode changes to gaming, launch winamp and the mode changes to entertainment.

Good little app'. Download extract the folder launch the .exe right click on the icon in the task bar and set up your profiles. :hb:

I'll be happy when the volume control works on the front and the back speakers for now, I have to use my volume control knob to get the back speakers right and then use the windows volume control to bring the fronts upto the right level, pita when gaming at night when people are asleep..
Almost enuf for me to ditch the XFi and use the onboard sound infact...

Dont do headphones, they give me a headache.
the only set I've ever liked were a set of senhouser or sometihng i tried at a LAN at zak's house last year, not paying £80 on a set tho lol

Anyways, its a fault of the soundcard, yes headphones will solve the problem but not fix it...
