Well my dads gone and done it now. After talking about changing my adsl for agess...... we are now having Sky put in (again) so hopefully the broadband will be better than UKOnline.

I've heard nothing but bad reports of Sky so far, so the futures not looking good

Anyone on this forum use Sky ?

I have NTL or should I say Virgin Media.

I have been considering moving to Sky Broadband but there are several costs involved if I do.

1st I would need to get a BT line installed which comes with its own costs and then have the sky installed again with added costs.

Also as I dont currently have a BT line I cant determine what my expected download capabilities will be.

These points have put me off for now

sister in law has it it constantly forgets her password. Nice that plus speeds she gets are poor.

Hopefully you'll be ok but you get what you pay for and sly bb is free to cheap at the end of the day.

A m8 has just moved from ntHell to Sky and theyre great... they dont turn up when they say.. they dont ensure that the adsl is working oki..(they dont connect you up !! ) They DO give you a wireless modem (now even I can work out some of this stuff... but honest, there are peeps out there that have even less idea than me ! )
Now that he's all sorted it seems to be ok.. initially the connection was anyhow and kept dropping, but now all appears oki... Hope yours works out ok bud
