A friend was asking me about routers with P and/or P+, wanting to know what the P and P+ was... any ideas?

Yeah, I don't know either at the moment.

He said he'd seen P and P+ on a Router somewhere, and he was looking in the context of a domestic setting. I've not seen any Routers with the designation of P or P+.

He's a brilliant mathematician, but not so technically savvy, and not everyone has to be do they? This is why we have fun 'n' friendly forums like this, eh? :)

So, I'm now assuming he has misread something.

Plug and Play router, allows windows clients to add port settings for things like torrents. Most routers have it these days.

Isn't that the UPnP, though? I wonder if that is what he misread. It couldn't be that simple could it?

Y'know, it seems I've been over complicating this haven't I? Thanks Mr. T. :gsv:
