Hi Mejulie and welcome to the place that is [GSV]

You are only the 2nd regular on our server that we have invited into our TS channel, the first was Marwin but he hasn't been able to get on recently.

As you've probably noticed we don't just invite anyone in but you were playing regularly and also came across as a friendly sort.

We're glad you enjoy being in TS as it does add to the game and makes it easier for us to communicate.

Fortunately you werent scared off after your first evening listening to us hurling abuse at each other and pissing ourselves laughing every time someone got knifed.

I remember you saying yesterday that you'd scared the life outta the missus when you yelled something, well thats something that happens to us all fairly regularly i think.


As Nelly said, hopefully at some point you might persuade the missus to let you use your mic and join in the banter.

Anyway enough rambling from me, see you on the battlefield

Hello Mejulie,

You're gonna have to explain that name some day, as I don't know if you've noticed you're sometimes called Julie in comm's.

As you've seen and heard, we're an easy-going clan, are particular as to who we invite to the circle of our comm's, and now only make human sacrifices once a quarter instead of once a month. (Once a month was making it difficult to get as many players on the server regularly.) The next is due this weekend in fact, so your dropping a comment in the forums this week was perfect timing.

I've always loved that particular 80's sound, pop with a smattering of philadelphia soul, if that's what you'd call it.

A number of the guys in GSV are musically inclined - well maybe much more than inclined. I've tried the piano, too many keys, the guitar had too many strings, the saxophone - I lacked that octopus ability, so I settled on the Balalaika - I've got a sweet little three string from Leningrad '69.

Are you still in a band, or still play anything?

yes i still play ,i'm booked out right through the year up till new years eve.the albums and all the singles and radio 1 shows have just been re releaed after being digitally remastered.you can see it all on Play.com and amazon.they give you a little sound bite.so you can hear a bit..i do know about the facebook campaign,seems there is a lot of people who want us to get back together.give me £10.000 a week i think about it :-)10 secs later i'd be on the tour bus .so..a GSV band eh.Slatz would have to sing...he's got a great voice.
