Id thought id let you know how this pomme is getting on in New Zealand
Well i received my work permit no problems (phew) then it was the task of getting a job
I applied to a local firm called Mitre 10(a bit like B&Q) and i managed to get a job after 2 interviews as a bathroom and heating sales assistant
Its great lots to learn and the chance to meet new people plus a healthy discount on tools ect cos i need it
because we bought a house too
Basically we went into the bank told them about our situation and they offered us a mortgage no problems(it did help that the bank manager was from leeds)
So this is the place we have bought <a href="http://www.myplace.co.nz/listing/UPP11840" target="_blank">Oldies house</a> as you can see its the estate agents photos so its not my 7 seater chair in there lol
all in all its going really well and im just waiting for the weather to turn because its very wet at the moment
