They need this feature for the adrenalin junkies and kids. Interrupt their short attention span for too long, or take away their toys, and they lose interest. They've got to keep some arcade aspects, which includes the ability to hack and cheat. For a game to have the greatest prospect for commercial success, or at least to hold on to what it has, it must support the interests of the broadest cross-section of its customer base.

Awesome graphics, same kinda locations, same weapons, same tictacs and tactics.

What it needs is some real ooomf... something to make it more realistic... some chewing gum sound effects. Also, soldiers have high protein diets don't they? So, there's another sound effect the game would benefit from, and you could get a badge for it.

I really miss the way Mega would <a href="http://www.snotr.com/video/3991/Estonia ... in_at_work" target="_blank">spot</a> for the team.

commander is back, looking at the visuals it comes pre hacked with markers for all enemies, might just be the alpha set up though.

I am still undecided.

The game is not Arma II, Arma III or Project Reality Mod for the BF series. If you want more realism then play those games.

You not checked out the<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vxc3F1Skpcg" target="_blank"> official video</a> showing the commander mode? You can ever run commander mode on a Tablet if you have one. You can also use a Tablet as a minimap.

I like the idea of using commander mode on a tablet, works well for me, especially if you can give orders from it as well..
Thing is they had commander in BF2 was it, so the question is what do we have in BF3 that they will take out of BF4 and then put into BF5 as some sort of new feature..

The Commander feature set this game apart from all others. Giving snipers the call for Arty was a mistake. My favourite role was Commander while playing on other servers. But when we had our own server I didn't mind being Cannon Fodder, it was fun, and that's what GSV is about.
