Let us know if you find anything better mate, I just need something to watch what the kids are up to on our home network really.

Oh I also use Logmein at work, that could be worth a look mate, good thing about that is you use your web browser to connect.

Here are some comparisons between RD software packages... dunno if the one you can't remember the name of is there or not... a handy little guide all the same. :)

<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... p_software" target="_blank">Comparison of Remote Desktop Software.</a>

As for protecting youngsters from the mire of the internet I have installed Cybersitter on my children's PC's. It has a Remote facility but better still you can specify what sites they are allowed to visit rather than waiting for a disaster to happen.

With Cybersitter you can also set the times at which they are allowed to access the 'net, etc... I'm really impressed with it have have been using it on their computers for over a year now.

<a href="http://www.cybersitter.com/cybinfo.htm" target="_blank">Cybersitter... check it out.</a>
Just be a nutter... life becomes much more exciting, and people won't expect anything more of you...

Have a look at "logmein.com" :)

It's free and is all done through a web browser and a small client on the "controlled" pc.

It's ideal for connecting to your home PC to surf when work blocks certain sites ;)

Thats ok as long as the company firewall allows it ;)
Ours doesn't... so hence teh logmein is perfect as it's port 80 traffic.
