Whats The Best Way

To connect my old VHS video recorder to my PC

I want to copy off some old Camcorder footage onto dvd.

Would I connect to a graphics card with VIVO or maybe to a TV card?

afaik both ways will work well, theres plenty of software out there for recording it, virtualdub comes to mind, and im sure "windows movie maker" might do something.

I did it ages ago with a TV card and it worked fine

same used a tv card you can pick them up cheap enough these days
