That is hilarious Hammer, typical. I am sure the RIAA must have people doing the development of blueray drm. Lol.

In the long run it will be good news for the consumer. They will just return the hardware as it's not fit for the purpose it was bought for. HW manufactures will complain to their software team. People will not buy the hardware which has cost millions to develop. Manufactures need this format to succeed.
They hardware prices will plummet and the discs will be sold with minimal protection on them. Cheaper films in the long run and we can still copy them.

I've watched a ton of blu-ray on my playstation 3, have to say i've never had any problems and they all look awesome.

That is bad news for the blu-ray big boys though.
