Hi All,

My brothers looking for a laptop for christmas, i've had a look at the usual suspects dell aria scan dabs ebuyer, a few sticking points is it must be no more than £350 delivered, must have webcam built in, its main use will be skype calls / webcam with the grandparents.
This time last year i got a nice HP for the missus and got an extra stick of ram thrown in for free, this year im struggling to find deals as good.

Other than the option below, all ive seen is own brand ebuyer types..........

<a href="http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Laptops/ ... ctId=37997" target="_blank">Option #1 </a>

Can someone with some clue advise us on any other options i've missed. Thanks in advance, andrew.

vista or w7, amd intel, ahhhhh too much choice.

Bit of flexibility with the Dells, check out there deals, should be able to get close to your £350 mark probably closer to £380 with a camera tho but will most likely come with windows 7, 2/4gb ram, 160gb drive, 15" screen etc etc..

Thanks guys, i specced one up at dell, £383 delivered.
I'll leave the decision with the money man, but i've said i'd tend towards Dell.

He's gone for <a href="http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Laptops/ ... ctId=37997" target="_blank">this</a>, on the basis that he's had HP before and wasn't overly fussed about getting a Dell.

Ok in the end he got the same laptop but with windows 7, hes a happy bunny ! The new windows doesn't seem to have caused any problems, im yet to have a go (read: break it).
